The Village of Prairie Grove is excited to host Luke Bryan and his FarmTour25 guests at the Berning Family Farm in Prairie Grove. In partnership with surrounding communities, first responders and the Tour itself, we have worked hard to ensure an efficient, safe and fun evening for all attendees. Here is some information for the public and residents of Prairie Grove:
Getting to the Concert:
Arriving from the South of Praire Grove – Including from I-90 or IL Route 176
Take Illinois Route 31 north and turn right (East) on Gracy Road. Follow the signs to the designated parking areas. See the route designation map below.

Arriving from the North of Prairie Grove
Traffic arriving from the North can only approach the concert area on Barreville Road. The nearest major intersection is Barreville Road and Charles J. Miller Parkway, where you will see signs directing traffic to the event. Click here for a map of that intersection. See the route designation map below.
Drop-Off and Ride Share
If you’re being dropped off, using Uber, Lyft or other ride share platforms, you must follow the directions for arriving from the North. Follow the signs for designated drop-off areas.
Residents Getting To/From the Concert
Residents are not exempt from the above traffic routes. Police have been instructed to refuse local traffic to/from the concert other than via the above designated routes. ATV’s, four-wheelers, golf carts, and other similar vehicles will not be allowed on the roads nor to park at the venue.
Leaving the Concert
You will exit the concert parking lots in the reverse direction that you arrived. In other words, if you arrived via Route 31, you will leave via Route 31 and be directed southbound. If you arrived via Barreville Road, you will leave northbound on Barreville road. Again, signs will direct you.
Information for Residents of Prairie Grove
Road Closures
The Village has worked hard to minimize disruption during the event. Please note the following road closures that will be in effect on the day of the event from noon until midnight:
- Gracy Road from Rt. 31 to Barreville Road (open only for concert setup and traffic)
- Barreville Road from Veterans Parkway to Wright Road
- Justen Road from Colby Point to Barreville Road
All traffic for the concert will be coming in off of Route 31 and Barreville Road. The Village should not see an increase in traffic on local roads. Prairie Grove Police and McHenry County Sherrif Deputies will provide enforcement.
- Ames road at Rt. 31 will be blocked; however, residents of Oak Grove Estates and residents who live on Ames Road will be able to enter and exit as usual by showing identification.
School Buses
School buses are exempt from the above closures and will operate as usual.
