Dear Residents of Prairie Grove,

I want to begin by extending my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continued trust and support in the recent general election held on April 1st. I am honored to have been re-elected as your Village President and am excited to serve you for another four years. Together, we’ve made great progress, and I look forward to continuing on this path with a shared vision of thoughtful growth, community spirit, and preserving the character that makes Prairie Grove so special.

I also want to acknowledge and thank all of the candidates who ran in this election for their commitment to public service. Congratulations are in order for Trustees John Sprenzel, Bob Halpern-Givens, and Keven Werner on their re-election. It’s a pleasure to continue working alongside such dedicated individuals. Please also join me in welcoming our newest trustee, Megan Behm, who brings fresh perspective and energy to the Board.

With Megan’s arrival, we also mark the conclusion of an important chapter. Trustee Lisa Behm, who has served our Village for an impressive 16 years, will be stepping down next month. Lisa has been an unwavering advocate for our community and a tireless champion for our parks. As Chair of the Parks Committee, she brought us cherished traditions like the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk-or-Treat events, which have become beloved fixtures in Prairie Grove family life. Her last meeting as trustee will be next month, and I hope you’ll join me in thanking her for her outstanding service and heartfelt dedication to our village.

And now, for a truly exciting announcement: Prairie Grove is officially on the map! As part of his Farm Tour 2025, country music superstar Luke Bryan will be performing a live concert right here in our Village! The event will take place on September 19 on the beautiful grounds of the Berning Family Farm, located near the intersection of Gracy and Barreville Roads.
