Prairie Grove shares grade school education with District 46 and 47. Depending on where you live, students may be in either district. However, the junior high programs stay within the elementary school district. Rarely will the student be educated in one district and sent to the other for middle school. District 155 is the dedicated public high school district. Three high Schools are located in Crystal Lake and one in Cary. Numerous private schools are available as well.....and a Community Junior College, Columbia College (4 year) and Webster (graduate) schools are within the area.
Most denominations have a church within the community or nearby. Major religions are detailed within the worship link. Those with web sites have their names highlighted as links for your convenience.
Boating, Club Soccer, Traveling Baseball and Softball as well as park district activities abound.
